Rat Taxidermy Lab (+$175): Come learn how to make a rat skin rug with taxidermist Meredith Thomas! In this class you will learn how to fully skin, flesh and tan a rat of your very own, as well as how to do detail work while mounting your animal’s face (all skills you can take home and use for future taxidermy endeavors!) This class runs at about three hours, which leaves you ample time to explore the expo.
Diorama Terrarium Workshop (+$40): Create your own diorama terrarium in this workshop! Curate a beautiful and peculiar miniature cloche dome with your choice of dried flowers, insects, bones and more! All supplies included!
Owl Pellet Dissection Class (+$20): Dissect owl pellets and meticulously curate to reveal the remains of their casualties! A menagerie of bones, fur, feather, and more await your discovery! All supplies included!
